Weimaraners are friendly, loving and affectionate dogs who crave human interaction. They are good with children, but should not be in a household with hamsters or guineas pigs, as they have strong hunting instincts. Abundant exercise coupled with a strong master will keep the Weimaraner happy and content.
By having predictable rules and penalties for breaking the rules you are mimicking pack conduct. In a normal setting every dog has his place in the pack, and he understands what his task is.
